Sustainable Development

Managing the evaluation of the Community Action 2020, Every Action Counts programme.  A DEFRA funded programme, this seeks to bring about a step change in the Community Sector in terms of their work around sustainable development.

Stakeholder Engagement:

	Working with Darlington Borough Council to develop capacity and skills in the Planning Department, to enable staff to better engage with communities. At present this work is focussing on the development of a community engagement tool kit for planners.
	Working with WWF UK to develop a tool which uses a robust methodology to measure the impact of community engagement on individual behaviour change. This is a long term piece of work which involves many partners working on an international action research programme.
	Managing a year long consultation for the North West Regional Assembly on the Partial Review of the North West Plan.
