Mary Anderson MA MScBased in Tunbridge Wells Mary is an economist with more than 20 years' experience of policy and planning in the public, private and voluntary sectors. She worked for CAG for 9 years up to 2004, at Director level, and rejoined CAG in April 2007. Mary has considerable experience in sustainability policy, environmental management and community consultation, with a particular interest in transport and accessibility planning.
Helen Chalmers BA (Hons) MProf DProfBased in north Wales, near Shrewsbury Helen joined CAG in January 2007. With a background in sustainable
development and experience as a policy advisor, she is particularly interested
in governance for sustainable development, climate change and waste management.
Gerard Couper BA Associate Environmental Auditor IEMABased in Devon Gerard has over 20 years experience in sustainable development in the public sector and a strong background in stakeholder and community involvement. Before joining CAG in 2001, he worked in local government on sustainable development policy and management. For CAG he has delivered a broad range of projects including sustainability appraisals, SEA, training, community engagement processes, research and evaluation. He is a qualified trainer and environmental auditor.
Emma Cranidge BA (Hons)Based in West Yorkshire Emma is a specialist in stakeholder engagement and community consultation and participation. She designs and delivers processes, as well as evaluating processes and supporting policy development in engagement.
Niall Machin BSc (Hons)Based in London Niall joined CAG in February 2008 from the Greater London Authority where
he was Sustainable Development Manager. His background is in advising
local and regional government on sustainability and environmental planning.
He spent a year working on sustainable food policy at the London Development
Agency and prior to joining the GLA in 2000 previously spent 10 years
at the London Ecology Unit working on environmental issues..
Tim Maiden BSocSc (Hons) MSc MRTPIBased in Newcastle-upon-Tyne Tim is a director of CAG, having joined the firm in 2003. A chartered
town planner, Tim specialises in work on sustainability and climate change.
Tim also has extensive experience of developing and managing community
and stakeholder engagement programmes.
Philip Matthews BSc (Hons) MSc (Oxon)Based in Edinburgh Philip joined CAG in early 2002. He has worked on environmental and sustainability issues for Local Government, NGOs and national government agencies for the last decade, specialising in work on energy and climate change, as well as sustainable development governance.
Susan Parham BA Grad Dip MA PhD candidate (Cities Programme, LSE)Based in London Susan joined CAG in 1998. She has a long-term background in sustainability planning and urban design, transport, urban regeneration and
stakeholder involvement.
Alison Pilling M Prof MSc BSc (Hons)Based in Barnsley ap@cagconsult.co.uk Alison rejoined CAG in January 2005 to work on consultation and involvement processes within a sustainable development context. Alison is a CAG Director and has recently returned from maternity leave.
David Stone MA MIEDBased in Brighton David joined CAG in 1999 after 12 years working in local government economic development and regeneration. David has a special interest
in improving the management and delivery of regeneration programmes.
Rosiana CunninghamBased in London Rosiana joined CAG in 1986 and runs the practical side of the business including controlling administration, financial management and dealing with invoices. |
