David Stone MA MIED

Based in Brighton
David is currently on secondment to Trust Thamesmead

David Stone joined CAG after 12 years working in local government economic development and regeneration, where he led in developing major ERDF and SRB programmes. He was lead consultant in the delivery of Community Strategies for Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, the City Fringe Partnership; Cold Bath & Orchard Estate; Heathside & Lethbridge Estate; Hollingdean Sure Start Neighbourhood Renewal.

David was co-author of a recent major review of Community Capacity Building in the South East on behalf of SEEDA and has recently completed a review of the VCS for the Countryside Commission.

David was lead consultant in:-

• The Strategic Review of Greenwich Voluntary Action Council
• The Strategic Review of the Forum @ Greenwich
• The Strategic Review of Trust Thamesmead
• An Evaluation and Review of RAWM
• A detailed Evaluation of the LB Waltham Forest SRB5 NOW programme;
• An in-depth Evaluation of the SRB4 programme in Sheffield.
• A Review and Action Plan for Waltham Forest SRB exit strategies
• A Strategic Review of the Black and Minority Ethnic Alliance in Waltham Forest

Much of David’s recent work has involved organisational change management in the VCS in response to the Change Up agenda.
