Niall has only recently joined CAG. His previous work at Greater London Authority involved:

• Mainstreaming sustainability across the GLA including integrating sustainability into the Mayor's strategies and policy;
• Developing the GLA approach to integrated impact assessment, including Strategic Environmental Assessment and screening for Habitat Regulations;
• Developing sustainability indicators for the GLA Group and the Mayor's London Sustainable Development Commission;
• Working with the London Sustainable Development Commission to deliver their work programme including looking at international good practice on integrated sustainability and developing their 'London Leaders' initiative.

At CAG, Niall's work includes:

• Looking at local capability for sustainable development for the UK Sustainable Development Commission;
• Undertaking community consultation on the North London Waste Plan;
• Assisting in developing a climate change action plan for Gloucestershire County Council.
