Involve, inform and consultProjects | North and West London Waste Plan ConsultationsAbout the project: CAG are currently working in a consultant team led by Mouchel on the preparation of the both the North London and West London Joint Waste Development Plan Documents. CAG are leading on the stakeholder and community engagement aspects of both processes. Stakeholder and community involvement: The Waste Plans cover a range of technical and planning subjects. At the same time they address controversial issues on the location of waste facilities. CAG’s role has been to develop an effective communication and consultation programme which gives local people and stakeholder organisations an opportunity to have their voice heard. For both plans, an extensive programme has been developed and is currently being delivered, including dedicated websites, exhibitions, public workshops, meetings with targeted hard-to-reach groups, leaflets, questionnaires and a communications programme coordinated across the boroughs involved.
