Economic development and social enterprise

CAG consultants have extensive experience of working with local economic development programmes. This includes working with Local Enterprise Growth Initiatives and other business support programmes, advising on intermediate labour market projects and evaluating projects that support long-term unemployed residents back into work. 

We have also worked with financial inclusion and financial literacy projects, identifying actions to increase residents’ knowledge of, and access to, financial services, and evaluating projects’ work.

Our social enterprise work has included providing training and business planning support for with credit unions, helping organisation access start up funding, carrying out feasibility studies and advising on test marketing and providing capacity building support for board members. 

CAG Consultants is a co-op, and as part of its 25th anniversary celebrations has funded grants for new co-ops.
