About the project:

CAG has recently completed a review for the Sustainable Development Commission which examined the capability of local areas (local authorities and partnerships) to deliver sustainable development.

The research included detailed case studies and examination of how local areas are using existing tools, governance structures and drivers such as climate change to promote sustainable development. The report makes recommendations for how national and regional bodies can support local areas.
