Climate change and sustainable energy

Projects | Acute Hospital Trust sustainable transport study

About the project:

CAG undertook case study research into how London hospitals can improve their transport and travel activities in terms of making them more sustainable. The research focussed on carbon reduction, health promotion and local economic benefits as key aspects of sustainability.

The work was undertaken on behalf of the Regional Public Health Group (London) and found that trusts are beginning to respond to the climate change imperative, principally from the perspectives of travel planning, fleet management and estate carbon management.
