Some examples of our work include:Public and Patient InvolvementWe have extensive experience of working in the field of stakeholder
and community involvement both within and outside the health sector. Community led needs assessmentCommunity needs assessment programme, LeicesterWe undertook a major community needs assessment programme in Greater
Humberstone, Leicester. This programme incorporated peer interviewers
drawn from the local community, focus groups and CAG's research tool,
the Field Feedback Model. Training in community development for community nursing staffCommunicare community development training programmeWe designed and delivered a participative training programme introducing
community nurses including midwives and health visitors to the concepts
and values of community development. Developing community responses health inequalitiesPlymouth Food StrategyWe completed a Food Strategy for Plymouth for the Plymouth Health Action Zone. The strategy considers food production, distribution and consumption. One of the main focuses of the strategy is its contribution to improving health and reducing health inequalities.
